The need to get away in order to 'think' about the stem-cell research issue and the much ballyhooed 'decision' was all one big bunch of bull, phoney nonsense, and hype.

The decision had been made for him a month before, according to Newsweek, mostly by Karl Rove, the administration political guru and the man who many believe is really running the show.

So, how do you like him? As a showman as in a carnival barker, or just as a president who once more shows that he's not concerned with lying to the American people to serve his own political interests.

Oh, I know: "all politicians lie". Seems so, until they're elected, but this guy already is elected (sorta').

Yep anybody with a touch of common sense could have seen he was simply reading a script lol. I saw on yahoo another company is laying off 11,300 workers. Seems like everyday its 1000 there, and 10,000 here while the jerk is doing nothing, but then again he cant. Clinton handed him a silver platter and they screwed it all up. In 4 years we will be hearing are you better off than you were 4 years ago? lol

He agonized for three months over the stem cell issue? Who believes this? When he returns he will have spent 54 days on the ranch agonizing over nothing.

He should have approved stem cell research without limitations or restrictions.

I wonder what roll Nancy Reagan played in his decision? Actually, I wonder if he knows what he agreed to.

"That way, Melton told Bush on July 9, he wouldn't have to revisit the issue for some time, Newsweek reports. ``When?'' Bush asked. ``In your second term,'' Melton replied."

Who says that they don't plan ahead? We'll just have to go over stem cell research again in four or so years. Hmmm ...

Yes, true. But we're going to sit here and enjoy it anyway.
