Every time I go to a new web page using Internet Explorer or AOL, a phantom page pops up. It says COOL 1234(or 4 other numbers) on top, there is no text, and then it disappears. Does anyone know what this is and how to stop it from happening?
I had the same problem with a virus protector. The dam thing was flashing it's message dead center every five minutes. I found nothing complimentary in the fact that it was trying to protect me so I removed it.
