It now has been acknowledged that the U.S. Army has been working with and developing the exact strain of anthrax as has been found in all of th mailed anthrax cases. How 'bout that, eh? The very same stuff.
Yes, Shocked!!!...you would probably have a seizure if you knew what other hazardous materials are being developed and shipped down the highway. I haven't been able to find that these deadly agents are classified as hazardous materials. That, of course would be an admission that they are being manufactured.

I hope they intended this to mean they needed to do this so they could find a way to neutralize it in case it was used as a weapon against us.
Of course, if "we" (USA) are one of the few who can make it, then "we" should not have to worry too much about it being used against us. However, accidents do happen. You play with fire, you can get burned.
I do not feel developing "virulant bacteria" for possible use in "germ warfare" can be considered "defensive" no matter how hard you try to spin it.
