Has anyone ever had problems with the wire that connects from your camera to your computer that downloads pictures from the camera? I keep getting a message saying I'm not getting a connection. Can you replace just that or do you have to replace the whole camera?

I previously sold camera in the past and this problem occured with some of the cameras that I sold, Calling them back in I discovered that the camera was at fault and not the cable. Good Luck

I wonder if you have used it successfully since you installed the new XP computer.
I had to order updated software because I had a similar problem with my scanner.
I tend to blame everything on that XP program so don't laugh if I'm way out of line. I use a Sony Mavica so I didn't have to deal with the camera problem.

We have XP on one computer and it runs incredibly well. The only problem so far is exactly what Helen mentioned, many software programs are not yet set up to coordinate properly with it.
