Since reading the story this morning I have heard people say why didn't she donate money to this or that or keep the house in the family.
I figure it's her house and her money and she could do what ever she wanted with it! As her husband said the kids already have their own homes. Then one of them buys them a house.
To me this is one proud family! Can you imagine how she'll feel when she sees that float going down the street? I'm sure her heart will actually hurt from joy. What a thank you to America.

The story kinds plucked my heart strings. I'll bet she was as proud as a Peacock when that float came down the street. Makes me remember just how fortunate I am to have been born here.
