In Iraq? What's up with the re-building? How's the new government coming along? Most know I disagree with this war, but since we made the mess I think we should stay and clean up after ourselves. You could count on the daily news to keep you updated until the Shiavo case came along and it seems to have stopped or slowed to a crawl. I know this is going to sound far worse than it's meant to, but we have healthy young men dying over there. . .I think they deserve the coverage more. See? I told you it would sound worse than it's meant to.
Anyone know if the kids are off to school yet? Or, does anyone know of a good human interest story coming out of Iraq?

Good question, Cheryl! I also asked this question last year and the year before, yet nobody knew. I continue searching for pictures of the reconstruction in both Iraq and Afghanistan and pictures of the happy communities that are talked about by Bush & Co. but am not having much luck. Seems more important to show pictures of a dying woman than pictures of the dead and dying in the middle east these days.
