I'm SO FREAKING BORED!!!
Playing email tag with the production manager of one of my suppliers trying to figure out appropiate substituions for items that are not available at this time. This is the disadvantage of doing business in Asia... I'm sick of this computer and I want to curl up and be completely unproductive but noooooo.... have to sit here and wait for the next email.
Do you have this in that color...
No but we have it in these other 3 colors that no one could possibly want.
Hmmm ok, do you have that in that color...well, we have half as many of that in this color as you requested...
Can I scream now?

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?
I can relate to your problem. I really hate it when they just don't send the item at all. I have one supplier like that. Because they all have minimum order requirements, I have to wait until my next order to re-order the product. Sometimes another color or style would be okay with me if they'd only ask!
I'm away from the computer tomorrow! I don't care if I have auctions closing. It's going to be 70 here and I'm taking advantage of it. Thursday it's only going to be in the 40's. Gawd, I hate living up here. I'm thinking about North Carolina.

It is 60 here today and my husband and granddaughter are off to the park. I am home taking care of the small one. 15 months and she sure is a pistol. I am to old for this.

Fenix, now slowly step back from the computer and listen to yourself... the disadvantage of operating in a global ecomony is that they sometimes don't have the right colour???

No Krafty - the disadvantage was that I was chained to the computer at midnight trying to negotiate with my asian supplier. As for the color... he ended up taking the pieces from another order that was being prepared after he remembered that he had pushed my ship date back three times
