Where do you stand on whether or not illegals should have the 'right' to vote in our election process AT ALL...whether it be at the state/local levels or on the Federal level?

[Not debating whether they do or not here]...it's proven they already do in the state of Maryland...in local elections. And many have stated/that they are registered to vote to do so in Federal levels too.

BUT....those arguements aside....

Do you support illegals being allowed to vote in any level in our goverment?

Hi Linda. I am against this. I would think 99% of the people in this country should be. That is one of the foremost rights of being a citizen, imo.

LOL....so no one wants to state if they approve or disapprove of illegals have the right to vote in America?

Well...I don't. They have entered illegally and should have NO rights....like any that the left is constanty working to insure they receive.

Let them come in legally...like everyone else does. Deport them all.

Local voting eligibility should be decided locally. I couldn't care less how a community other than mine defines who can and can't vote. Having said that, I think most municipalities, districts, etc., in this country require their voters to be registered under federal rules.

Federal elections require that a voter be a citizen of the US, and I agree with that requirement.

I think the only citizens allowed to vote in any election State or Federal election are the legal ones.

Can I go live in Canada or Mexico as an alien and vote. I know that it takes 5 years of living in Canada to get citizenship but can they vote before that?

Is there another country in the world that would let illegal aliens vote? If yes state which one and why.

Well there are some countries that are ruled without the approval (voting) of its citizens. Go figure!

on illegals voting?

No on all levels of gov't.

There is a reason they are called 'illegals'

I've never denied I spend a lot of time here. It's my time and I'll spend it as I wish.

But from my first post of the day to my last...there YOU are...harrassing/stalking me. Each and everyday.

What is YOUR problem? Why do you follow me around like a little lost puppie dog....BEGGING for my attention?

Do you think this is normal behavior for a grown woman? I sure don't. I think it's pretty PATHETIC...needy....and sick.

Do you have a mental illness of some sort? Is that what this is all about. Maybe you can explain to all the posters here...this sick need to harass my every post.

Does your supposed husband know you're so infatuated with me...that you spend each day stalking another woman on a chat board? Is that it? Do you find me sexually attractive in some sort of sick way. Does it give you sexual satisfaction to stalk me everyday and into the night?

Does it put some meaning into your life....just waiting, hiding behind your monitor all day long to stalk me?

Maybe that's why you went balistic over people knowing your FIRST name. Not so comfortable to HIDE behind that monitor and act in this abnormal way towards another poster on a chat board.

But...whatever your problem is...whatever your demons are....you need to get some SERIOUS help...soon.

linduh, you really shouldn't post while looking in a mirror and talking to yourself.

It was quite odd that you mentioned my first name in a post at exactly the same time I was experiencing auction interference.

You say, "Maybe that's why you went balistic over people knowing your FIRST name. Not so comfortable to HIDE behind that monitor and act in this abnormal way towards another poster on a chat board.""

linduh, I don't see any connection between you breaking the RT rules, posting personal information about someone and whether or not someone is "hiding" behind a monitor....another stretch which just doesn't have any basis in logic.

And as far as YOU bringing up sex(pervert) I'm the one with a new husband.....

You say, "It's my time and I'll spend it as I wish.""

Well, why don't you think that should apply to others? Are you special?(no)

linduh, I know you've read my posts about your truly sick need to be right and the great lengths you go to "prove" everything....and maybe it does have to do with your unfortunate childhood...but why don't you just relax and let a few things go by...you'll be mentally much healthier(and get more sleep). You'll then maybe understand that every time someone answers a post in here they are not stalking anyone......or EVERY poster would be considered a stalker.

Maybe the thread question should be:

Where Do You Stand on Stalking? Because just like in the 'joke' thread...crowfarm has to put her ugliness everywhere.

CYBERSTALKING PREVENTION TIPS

If you are being harassed online by a cyberstalker, the chances are that you are not the first person they have stalked.

Cyberstalkers, like other predators, are opportunists. They know what they are looking for and how to get it.

"Stalking" is a "power" crime, the stalkers has the power to make you suffer and enjoys that power. Stalkers' self-esteem rises when they attack your self-esteem. The more pain and suffering they can cause, the better they feel about themselves.

Often, stalkers are mentally unstable, paranoid, delusional, and extremely jealous, and have extremely low self-esteem.

Stalkers may display selfishness, malice, sadism, be very cunning and arrogant.

Most are anti-social, and to put it in layman's terms, be a "control freak", enjoying manipulating other people.

They crave power over others, and enjoy the type power that hurts other people.

Harassment is common enough in live chat on the Internet.

Those who regularly start flame wars online are rude an obnoxious people, often having poor social and communication skills.

Their idea of fun is throwing obscene abuse at another just to upset them. These kind of harassers are often loners who don't have a companion and their attempts to attract your attention is often clumsy and crude. Care should always be taken when turning them away, as they are highly sensitive to rejection and humiliation, and could cause a vendetta to start against you.

Understand that although clumsy and crude in most cases, the stalker is not stupid, they are very organized and usually experienced in their war against you.

Stalking is a form of obsession.

The difference between a normal cyber harasser and a cyberstalker, is this: harasser moves on to others and forgets you and a stalkers will come back to stalk you another day.

Most stalkers, having been rejected desire to instill fear in users, therefore, upsetting the normal enjoyment of the Internet.

Note that educated, smooth talking, responsible people also can be stalkers.

Yep, crowfarm....the above certainly describes your actions here towards me for months now.

It has gotten to the point where I rarely read anything Linda has to say anymore. And, I'm sure that's fine with her. I am much calmer for it. Fortunately, her opinion no more represents the majority of Americans, where only 43% approve of his job as president. And it keeps dropping and dropping.

As of 5/20/05: Only 35 percent of those surveyed approved of the president's handling of the economy, down from 43 percent in February and 45 percent in January. On the Iraq issue, Bush's approval rating slipped from 45 percent in January to 40 percent in February, and 37 percent currently.

Positive opinions of his handling of foreign policy fell 10 percentage points, to 38 percent, and his approval ratings on energy and social security stood at 31 percent and 29 percent respectively.

Now, back to the topic. I don't think anyone here agrees that illegals should have the right to vote. Where did that come from? Did someone read into something, something that wasn't there? We've gone from do illegals vote to should they be able to.

Will it go round in circles?
Will it fly high like a bird up in the sky?

The "logic", apparently, is that if you don't think illegals voting is a screamingly important issue, then you must, by definition think it's OK for them to vote. That's why I commented earlier that this thread was a setup.

LOL @ cheryls statement.

You just don't have the ability to engage in civil dispute, cheryl. You've proven that many times here. You want your voice/opinion heard, but NO ONE should state they see it differently and why.

But you're wrong...do illegals vote...are they voting ...and where do you stand on whether they should or not are TWO different subjects. Sorry you're having problems separating the two.

And you're also wrong on no one supporting illegals voting. More and more state here are voting to see if illegals in their states will be given that 'right'.

Even the profe...said in this thread, he would leave it up to the locals to decide....JUST AS MARYLAND has ALREADY done..and exactly why illegals ALREADY vote there in their election process, excluding their Federal elections.

I personally believe that's why you say what you do about my posts. Don't like how often I prove your statements to be ignorant of the actual FACTS.

And it also surprises me that you appear to support ol' poor crowfarm in her continued stalking/harassing of each and every post I was making, each and everyday. Obviously your judgement of what can clearly be seen by ALL is blurred.

Oh Cheryl ! You have a STALKER!

But don't despair...this can be a good thing....if you're ever wrong (doesn't happen much with you) or don't want to answer a question...then you just start railing about being stalked and crying about someone hanging on your every word, call names, and go off your nut with a rambling description of a psycho stalker.

Like George Galloway said about Norm(sleazebucket) Coleman's false charges, "It's the mother of all smokescreens"

Really cheryl? Then how do you explain that illegals ARE voting legally in five different preciences in Maryland?

See that's where you OFTEN get confused. You have trouble separating FACT from YOUR OPINION for my opinion. There IS a HUGE difference....once you obviously can't see.

Back up your statement cheryl....I've given the link to the article that speaks to the state of Maryland ALLOWING ILLEGALS TO VOTE LEGALLY in their local elections. Prove YOUR facts...that they're not.

Then we'll see just WHO has their FACTS confused.
