We've been following the news reports of the terrible wildfires that you folks are experiencing right now and hope and pray for your safety.
Our Australian News Services have announced today that we are sending over some of our own bushfire fighters to lend a hand. My boy will be one of them. Please look after them all.
God Bless and stay safe.

Being from one of the states hard hit with the wildfires this summer (Arizona) I thank you for your concern. I am fortunate in that I don't live near any of the areas that have been burning. A lot of us were worried that we would have a bad wildfire summer this year because the west was very dry last winter and our fears are becoming true.

Thanks for sending helpers too. Your son will be in my thoughts!

Wow, bitsnbobs, I'm impressed. I also do not live near the fires but the thoughts are very generous.

Thanks Bitsandbobs! I live in New Mexico, and the state has been on fire all month. I have several friends who are fire jumpers, so I know the fear you have for your son.

I will add him to my list of prayers and thank you's.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all!!!!

I used to live in Northern California and narrowly escaped losing my house to wildfires twice in 5 years. Thanks, bitsandbobs, for your show of support. We all really appreciate everything that Australians are doing to help us.
