This is very upsetting....
If you have a weak stomach you may not want to view this.
This one is not for the squeamish. A friend sent this photo of a horrible accident in Germany. The picture may be kind of hard to take. If you look closely you can see what appears to be some survivors of the accident still in the wreckage. Although the picture is horrible, it makes you realize how quickly our loved ones can be taken from us.

No matter how many times one rants about traffic safety, it just seems to go in one beer and out the other...

although, if it had to happen, at least it was german beer, and not Newcastle, Negra Modelo, or (perish the thought) Guinness.

Nope, I love the place.
Best rescue operation in Europe.
If you got it, flaunt it.
The beermaids can carry 15-20 mugs over their um bosoms while the oom-pah band plays on.
Hundreds of rescued survivors at the place, (mostly Japanese).

By the way, I didn't say that I "own" it. The question was "do you have a recue operation in Germany" another of Helens attemps at sarcasm.
It's where I go in Germany to be "rescued".
Try it, you'll like it.

I have been in a funk all day over the tragedy in Germany. I was thinking of taking some Prozac but Tom Cruise says NO!
What's a person to do???
I dusted off the little brown glass barrel that contained red, white and blue beer. Waaay back in my younger and poorer days, this "premium brew" was $1.25 a six pack. It came in a cardbaord carry case like bottled cokes. The brown glass barrel was squat and wide mouthed so my mother(packrat) gathered up all the old soilders, soaked off the labels and used them for vases to take flowers to people in the hospital.
Why don't they make multi-functional beer bottles any more? You can't use a long neck for a pencil holder
As you can tell, I'm still in a funk about the loss. bummer!!
