Is a Democrat, didn't support the President's reasons for going to war, and volunteered anyway. I guess he didn't support the troops either, huh bear?
I live in Ohio and I can tell you that a majority of those who voted for Bush, wish they hadn't. I can see the state turning around. Thanks in part to Governor Taft.

I don't have a problem with him, but damnit could someone just go ahead andput the ethanol issue to bed for good? I know it comes from corn and corn comes from Iowa and it's a great issue to get big chears and votes and contributions come campaign season but it's impossible to take someone serious when they throw talk about a build reliance on a fuel source that takes more energy to create than it is capable of sustaining.
I realize that the government has no problem spending $1.50 to make a dollar but it scares me when people that have not even gotten there yet are endorsing it.

No, I'm saying -- I'm merely -- I'm saying what I'm saying. I don't know why I'm always having people say, are you trying to say -- you know what you can do if you want to know what I'm saying is listen to what I'm saying. What I'm saying is what I said ...

He volunteered to go back to Iraq....and he is one who DOES really support the troops....not giving lip-service only. Like most American's USED to do when we went to war....stand united against our enemies. No longer...
But will his military service be that important to the voters.....I believe the issues will be what they vote on....not his military service.
Besides being a dem in republican territory...WILL make a BIG difference...as will his lack of political experience.
But God Bless him....he's one of the brave....even if he is misguided in his choice of party's.

And why the American Voters chose to RE-elect President Bush to four more years. YES!!!

Nope, my point is, the first Iraq War veteran to run for office is a democrat, who didn't support the president's reasons for going to war, but went anyway.
Whether he wins or not is not my point. Might be yours, but it isn't mine.

Profes, are you saying he expressly joined the military to go fight a war he didnt agree with? If so, what kind of balanced reasoning is behind doing that? And if he was already previously enlisted, he didnt have much of a choice to go, or not to go, so what accolades does he deserve for that?
