I just bought a new computer, the problem is I cannot get my password to save ( when I go to log on the internet I have to retype it every time) I have tried every thing and nothing works. any ideas what the problem is?

IE 5.1 had Autocomplete. I'm now running IE 5.5, and on that you would check your setting by going to:
TOOLS/Internet Options/Content/Auto Complete
Once there, check the box "User Names and Paswords on Forms".
If you have no success with this I would suggest that you download (free) GATOR from gator.com - it will store all your name/pasword info for all sites requiring it and surface when you need it.

I had that problem one evening. A hard boot (physically turning the computer off and then on) solved the problem. If you haven't done that, give it a try.
