Hi Maggie! Not sure if your from New Orleans or not, but I really hope you can get home soon!

I don't know what happened to the people you mentioned.

I miss Classic

I was wondering that as well. Sure has been quiet around here for a few days.

I bet mingotree got banned (again). But the others? Dunno.

With all the hurricane stuff, there hasn't been much political news to argue about.

Hey Miss Mags!! I'm still here fighting the good fight

Give me your insurance companies number... I'm infamous for my phone manners. With my old company I was the designated phone enforcer. I bullied the hell out of our vendors and got them to agree to what was needed then my partner went back the next day and appologized so that they would take our calls again next time. Let me deal with your people once and they'll be happy to take YOUR calls in the future.

Actually the board hasn't been boring at all.

Hope Rita doesn't finish the old homestead.

But it is good you are still up north, hubby out of harm's way?

Hi Maggie - hope all is well with you. Fenix is keeping us in line while the others are away!

It has been quiet lately - is it the calm before the storm?

Hi, Maggie!

Your absence has left the RT dead in the water!

After visiting my daughter for a few days, I returned to find linda posting without her signature line reminding us that George Bush was elected president!!!

Maybe other such awe inspiring events will occur if we stay away another week or so?

Yes, hasn't it been so civil since Vendio had the good taste and TRUE civility to end the thread on the Oh-So-Civil topic of mass murder(genocide) advocated by the Oh-So-Civil likes of LindaKKK and others.
See, Vendio has a policy against hate speech and these hate-filled posters had flagrantly stepped over the line.

Yes, SOOOO civil to advocate the slaughter of children and babies to "end" terrorism.

"Civil" is only skin deep in some......but at least they don't call names which is so much worse than advocating, as the Nazis did, genocide.

Maggie, Let us all know about how your insurance company acts. Like a lot of big business they love to take in money but don't like to pay out.

About the neocons, I more or less am just letting them dig themselves into a even deeper hole with their own words. They just have so very little to say these days.

I must have missed the genocide thread - darn it all.

It has been civilized here lately, and I've really enjoyed it - I do like hearing other viewpoints on issues, but when they're nasty, ignorant and spewing insults, it's not worth it - but it looks like nastiness has just returned. I just ignore it - don't bother to reply to it.

Caroline, I will take a couple minutes and reply to your post. The real nastiness in America is what your failed CON-servative government is doing to the MAJORITY OF AMERICAN PEOPLE.

Tell me where the money is coming from for Hurricane repair. I am betting it will come from the pockets of the people that can least afford it. I have not heard one CON-servative Law maker say they should scale back tax cuts for the rich.

Somewhere in Texas a small town VILLAGE IDIOT is trying to wash the sh*t smell of New Orleans off of him.

Maggie, I love mine too, but they live tooo close! I see her every day. When we took 5 days for a little 'vacation' last week, my daughter was right here when we got back, saying she missed me soooo much, and the baby did too...... So the baby, while gone, learned to stand up, has stood alone, and crawling everywhere! and my house is not 'rug rat' proof yet!!

Peepa, if that took you more than a flat 30 seconds to post, you're in deeper crap than New Orleans!

Life is like a box of chocolates, there you are enjoying them when all of a sudden you get to the last piece and realise how stupid it was of you not to buy two boxes instead of just one.

It's also kinda stupid when you realise that you spelled a word wrong and you have to go back and edit to fix it, darnit. LOL
