Just remember when Business Week shows a bull on the front cover, the stock market bullrun is almost over.
Who do you think will be our next president?

I don't know who it'll be, but it'll be close. There is plenty of dirt on McGain that has yet to surface. I expect the dems are holding it in reserve until the time is right.

Don't forget, McGain is the last surviving member in Congress of the "Keating 5". You may remember Charles Keating, the crooked thrift operator who cost investors over 3 billion dollars and who gave over 100K to McGain and more to others in campaign contributions, not to mention trips to the Bahamas, etc. etc.

It's gettin' funner n' funner.....

Where there is no dirt, the Republican smear machine will manufacture dirt. Rove, speaking from his throne says, let there be dirt and there is dirt.

In that manner they were able to turn American Military medals into garbage.

I see another of our esteemed "representatives" has been indicted. That scumbag carpetbagger Rick Renzi is one of McGain's top campaign shills in AZ. We'll see if any of that rubs off on the candidate...Probably not.

Dirt!Dirt!Dirt!
We all have dirt somewhere,if a person has no dirt, then they will say he feels no pain,he is born with a silver spoon in his mouth!
Just realise Obama and Bill Clinton both have lousy childhood,Obama father went back to Kenya,I bet he never send his wife a dime to suppport Obama and Bill has a mean stepfather.
Pain, both have experienced pain as a child, but what about Hilary?
At the last debate, she looks like the wife of a wealthy man looking for something to keep herself busy, not a good image she is projecting.

He claims that he was "unaware" of that corruption right under his nose in his home state.

So, while Renzi makes illegal deals in Arizona, McCain looks the other way and makes a crook his campaign chairman.

hwa, you seem to be forgetting that in addition to being "the wife of a wealthy man", Sen. Clinton is a wealthy and successful attorney in her own right. Hardly a bored, rich housewife looking for amusement.

Can you imagine the chatter if Senator Clinton had been a cheerleader like Bush?

BTW...Hwahwa, where did Business Week make the forecast that McCain will be the next president? I would like to know how they justified that absurd prediction.

Hwa, can you provide a link to the Business Week prediction? I can't find it, other than January's bemusings of some of BW writers on 10 likely things in 2008 - which include a prediction that NY mayor Bloomberg will announce his candidacy for the presidential race in February.

Obviously, before I asked the same question three hours ago I looked for the Business Week prediction and couldn't find it.

Hwahwa is usually here later during the day to respond and answer questions.

Maybe she heard it on Fox News.

I can't find anything to support this. I don't believe Business Week has predicted a win for any candidate in the 2008 Presidential election. I can believe they forecast McCain as the republican nominate - duh!

It's just silly to believe that an organization like BusinessWeek would make such a ludicrous forecast. McCain is among the weakest Republican candidates for President in the history of the United States.

I went back to find the Business week article on AOL and cant find it.
I posted this thread as soon as I read it so it was 2/22/08 when I read it online.
Well, anyone can forecast/predict any event,it really means nothing.
McCain will have a 50/50 chance of winning the White house,so will the democratic candidate.
