Lol After not sleeping for upwards of 60 hours I am SOOOOOOO giggly I think I could stick my head in the oven and find it funny! I know people react differently when very tired but forced for one reason or another to stay awake. Just wanting to hear some stories.

MrB! good to see you

no wonder we haven't seen you around here if you've been working so hard

have a drink and a snack and relax a bit, I tend to get giggly sometimes too when overtired

Hope you are not driving or anything. After 36 hours you are not at all normal in any way, and ir will take more than one cycle of sleep to sort it out.

I've been known to wake up to the phone ringing, have a conversation with the caller and have no recollection whatsoever.

I become oblivious to the fact that if you hold down a key, it'll repeat the character. I'll hold down the "r", and will stare at the results scrolling across my screen for about five or six hundred rrrrrrrrrrr's before I lift the perpetrating finger, then try to reconstruct just how such a thing could happen. After this happens a half-dozen times, I conclude that something must be broken and I'll fix it after I get some sleep. Unsurprisingly, it cures itselffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

I can relate to this.

Having worked as a Shift Supervisor for a Paramedic Ambulance Service, working a scheduled 24 hour shift was quite normal. On top of that, if your replacement called in sick it was mandatory that you stay until some one could relieve you. Thus many times I was stuck with working 32 hours straight.

In most cases there would be time to get some sleep, however there were times all he77 broke out and your only friend was caffeine and adrenaline...
