I've watched the games, it resembles "real" football. I find the broadcast style annoying and the camera work amatuerish. (Thank goodness they got rid of that annoying overhead camera.)

My husband actually believes the little cheerleader hype thingies about them being kindergarten teachers, doctors and lawyers.

I think they are all "professionals", but not that kind of professional, if you get my drift....

What gets me that Governor Jessie Ventura is the associated with it. Yeah, I know WWF is part owners and if it wasn't for WWF Ventura he wouldn't be governor of Minn. Even though the people of the state knew what they were voting for, I think he is not representing the people properly. I wouldn't want my governor behaving as he is. I would find my governor's association with a sexist organization questionable. But then WWF is sexist.

I enjoyed Ventura's State of the Union, but yet something was troubling me as I viewed it (aired on CSpan sometime back along with other state governors'). It could be that I enjoyed his words but was it just to manipulate the people as the WWF performers do? Throughout the speech I kept thinking what the state congressmembers were thinking......

Sure I know politicians "manipulate" people as leaders do, but when it is no longer "influencing" people and it becomes "manipulation" I get turned off.
