Gotta use ubb here.

Try:

[img*]http://www.dreamwater.com/biz/eek2mc/nanook%20sad.jpg[*/img]

Take out the asterisks and you should get:

-ubb can be a PIA

You need to use UBB on this board, rather then HTML. Like this, but without the *s.

[*img]http://www.dreamwater.com/biz/eek2mc/nanook%20sad.jpg[*/img]

Becomes this:

You get that red "x" in the box when the ubb is correct but there is no image stored at the listed address.

Weird--I also saw broken links in everyone's posts, so I copied and pasted the photo url and the photo came right up onscreen. When I returned to the thread, the photo was showing in all the posts.

Beautiful dog, BTW.

Grannyfox,

Thank you so much for your previous posts in helping me out with the pic. By the way, He is a she (Nanook). And thanks to the others.

Even more weirdness--I revisited this thread and once again saw broken links. Clicked on the link in a post above and got a 403 (restricted access). Copied and pasted the url as I did previously, and went right to the image, as I did previously. And the image was here in the thread when I returned, as occurred previously.

I wonder if there's a glitch of some sort or if there's something about remote linking that I missed in Dreamwater's TOS. (I have space there too.)
