Does anyone have Spider Solitaire on their computer and if you do what's your high score. I play on the medium level and it's 1190.
Hubby has been trying to beat that score forever! It's been fun watching, he gets so frustrated. I FINALLY found something to beat him at, even if it is ONLY a computer game. Now, if those golf lessons would just start working!

I've only tried it on hard once! YIKES is right!
Do you know of any shortcuts or "secrets" to the game yet?
I haven't found any to aid in making it any easier, but I did by accident find that if you click in the score box it will show an available move instead of doing the m thing, but other than nothing else so far! I've tried playing without using that cheat feature, but find that I usually don't get too far. Ironically, when I got 1190 I was in a hurry and never used the "cheat" feature, so maybe I should try not using it more.
I agree it's an addictive game, I find myself playing it when I should be working.

Hmmm ... the only "tricks" I've found (and they're not really "tricks" is that undo-ing a move deducts from your score AND is considered a move in itself. So you would want to avoid undo-ing whenever you can.
What I do is to move all the cards that I can locate, then if I'm not 100% sure I found them all, I'll click the box to make sure I didn't miss any. I don't believe that getting a hint takes away from the score, best as I can tell.

Are you trying to get a higher or lower score? I just played the first time and my score was sooo low compared to yours

Actually, the object of the game is to get a LOW score, I think!
That's what I've always though anyway. Don't know why they call it high score. I would think the object is to get the lowest score possible.
The object technically is to get all the stacks with the least amount of moves, which translates to an end score. The more moves you make you get "penalized" for each one, so I would think the "lower" the score, the better. Maybe I'm wrong though, anyone know for sure?
