I need someone to tell me how to disable the pop-ups that pop up on-line. I read somewhere where you can do this, but can't remember where I read it.
If anyone knows how to do this I sure would appreciate you telling me. They are about to drive my husband crazy!

Go to CNet Downloads, formally Download.com and go to the Search window at the top, right-hand side of the screen and type in pop-up. alternate with pop up. There are tons of freeware and shareware out there fo it.
Another free site to get a pop-up remover is JunkBusters

Thanks for your replies. I will check out those places and I really don't want to disable my java script. However, that may have been the fix-it I read about. I just wish I could remember. I thought it said you could set a preference in your Netscape, but if that is what it said, I sure can't find it.

Netscape: Goto "edit" "preferences" "advanced" and uncheck "enable javascript". It's there for Net 4.x and up...... unless you're looking at 6.x and then it maybe a bit different, but I doubt it.
