I'm not going to go through these extensive calculations too often, but here is a breakdown of sell-through rates for each category at Bidville, and the overall auctionwide sell-through rate.
For the largest subcategory in each group, the first number are live auctions; second number is closed auctions with bids for the period April 27 to date; the third number is the average weekly closed auctions with bids; the fourth number is the average weekly sell-through rate.

You see Dimview! My doubts about your accuracy pushed you into digging deeper. And when you did, you now revise your sell through from .2% to .8%
I don't know if it is correct now or not. But, you admit that your original estimate was off by 400%. That was my point.

I stated that my earlier estimates were based on a just a few categories, this number is quite generous because it assumes that less populated subcategories enjoy the same sell-through rate.
I have no problem with either number, both are < 1% which is fine with me.
And, gee whiz, do you think the resoundingly successful $1-SALE just might have pushed the numbers up a bit?

Almost 1%! That might go down a tad as the dollar sale ends soon and the sale's 16% rate no longer inflates that 1% figure.
