We are all aware that sales slump in the summer; here are some ideas to help pass the time, productively!

Okay, if boredom has set in and you find yourself repeating yourself, finding faults in others and the numbers keep drawing you in…..there is help!

You can go bid on something! Auction site of your choice! You will probably get a great deal!

You can check to make sure you have left all feedback concerning transactions, you have been involved in!

You "inventory warehouse" your items! Probably on a Free site as it would cost a fortune on Ebay or Yahoo! Seriously, you just might get a sale!

Make a new internet friend!

Polish up your HTML techniques!

Take some pictures of listed items that do not have pictures, and add them!

Wait eagerly for the next BidVille $1.00 sale and make sure you list!

Any more?

Great suggestion. Here's the step-by-step process for browsing your favorite category.

FIRST CLICK ... relisted item.
SECOND CLICK ... another relisted item.
THIRD CLICK ... yet another relisted item.
FOURTH CLICK ... dang, this is getting tiring.
FIFTH CLICK ... another one.
SIXTH CLICK ... this is getting ridiculous.
SEVENTH CLICK ... what a time waster.
EIGHTH CLICK ... doesn't anybody post new stuff here.
NINTH CLICK ... carpel tunnel syndrome from clicking on all this old stuff.
TENTH CLICK ... finally, something new.

REPEAT PROCESS.

Also a great suggestion.

CLICK ONE ... ahhhh, something new.
CLICK TWO ... another new item.
CLICK THREE ... yet another new one.
CLICK FOUR ... a relist from last week.
CLICK FIVE ... yikes, another new one.

Thanks, deichen. [ edited by dimview on Jul 1, 2001 11:32 AM ]

Write to several internet businesses and ask if they would like to pay you to consult for them? This would help ease the declining sales…that always occur in the summer months!

Read the book “Ebay for Dummies”, even if you sell on another site, I am sure you can find a valuable tip or two!

Create a cool invoice for your sales! Be sure to include clip-art!

Check out the new postal rates…, it will affect us all…buyers and sellers.

Take a “chill pill” also known as anti-depressants. Some of us need these very, very badly!

Beat the auction sales slump blues…

by purchasing a water cooling unit for the Bulk Dumper and so you can list tens of thousands of items with little or no interest without burning out your computer.

Hey, a buyer just might show up before Halley's Comet makes it next appearance.
