Yes, every time I have clicked on AW today, I get a pop-up. So to all who were griping at BidVille's...they are everywhere. I just click the X before it loads.

I wasn't griping about BV having pop ups, just the content of the certain one. I realize sites that offer free services use pop ups to generate income and I'm fine with that. They are really annoying on sites that charge for services.
At some point in last few weeks AW's pop up for Half.com was coming up between every post I clicked. That is way excessive, I think it lasted about 5 days and stopped. Just today it's starting again so I guess I'll start a kill program too.

It occurred to me that, if any of AW's banner advertisers are cruising the forums tonight, they'll note the numerous threads on this problem and the steps that AW's users are taking to combat them...
Of course, these programs will kill all the other ads on AW...at least mine always has...
Talk about an idea which backfired....by the time all is said and done, practically no one will be seeing advertising on AW...
BTW, disabling scripting in the browser eliminates the pop-ups/unders....no software required...
