You missed one. I read in the newsletter that they were over 100,000 so I went over and checked. Looks like Antiques and collectables are now their own sections (you have it combined). So, add 18646 from the collectables section and it gives you a total of 107,524. Not too shabby!

And here I thought I was doing really well in noticing the addition of the Movies and Music category. Thanks for catching the mistake of separate Antiques and Collectibles categories. All fixed now, I hope.

Have I missed something....is it too obvious????Bargain and Haggle is NOT an auction site. It is a fixed price site that allows negotiating.

I don't think you missed anything... it's NOT an auction site. It's certainly not a fixed price site either though...
Sellers put an "asking price" which is what they would like to get... like a garage sale. As both a buyer and seller, I've noticed that is a very loose price. Someone asks $15, chances are you can get it down to 10-11 bucks.
Auction sites are on their way out in my opinion... too frustrating. This is the way it should be done!!!

I've had several sales on Bargain & Haggle where the buyer has offered MORE than my asking price. It has become my preferred method of selling. I don't do eBay anymore. I can do a bulk upload from my tias.com shop to B&H, and that makes it so easy to use.

WAIT UNTIL YOU GET A DEADBEAT BUYER AND HAVE TO TRY AND COLLECT YOUR SALES FEES FROM THEM. YOU WONT LIKE THEM SO MUCH AFTER THAT.

Great site but I have had no luck in getting credits back from them for deadbeat bidders. E-mailed them, filled out their form, etc., multiple times.
Very upsetting.

I haven't had any deadbeats on B&H yet, but since I'm accessing B&H through my tias.com fixed priced shop, I can get the tias staff to interface with the B&H staff. There are currently no tias final value fees for items that sell on B&H.

I had some credits I had never gotten from Bargain and Haggle.I e-mailed them with all the numbers of the transactions and they gave me the credits.I think they are trying to improve in that area. They have been great in helping me with credits and any problem I e-mail them with. I really like the site, haven't posted much lately as I'm having a hard time keeping enough stuff to sell on several sites and at the flea. But stuff does do extemely well there.

rulesenforcer,
I have had a few deadbeat buyers (but still not as many as on Yahoo). I filled out the form on the BandH site, and received my credits with no delays or hassles. I don't see what the problem is?
They did inform me they only process credits once a month (somewhere in the beginning of each month I think) but since I put my request in right before their processing period, I had little delays. I could see the frustration if you miss their credit period... maybe they'll start doing it more frequently eventually...
But when I asked ebay for a credit, I filled out their form... then 4 and a half days later I got a response telling me they would process my request, then got my credit about 3 weeks later. (something that would never have happened on BandH either... since I accidentally listed the same item twice, and removed one... on BandH, since there's no listing fees, I never would have had to go through all of that.)
