ewolfs.com is (or was) an on-line auction site for fine art, old books, ceramics, antiques etc. They are not paying for paintings sold in June and I was wondering if anyone knows any more or whom to contact. Their web site is still up, or most of it is -- take a look

Hello Lee926,
boy, what a mess! I would contact the person holding the sale of the personal property (per the ewolfs.com site), Mr. Wolf's attorney and the IL auctioneers licensing board.
I am assuming you consigned your items to them? If so, then you should have some type of contract, no? If they sold items on your behalf, the money from the sale should have went into an escrow account for disbursement. If they held an auctioneers license, the licensing board may be able to help you recover the funds owed to you. I'm not sure if IL has a state licensing board, or it is done by county. If by county, and the physical address is Chicago, I think the county name is Cook.
If you would like, send me an email and I'll try to assist further if I can.
