I was reading a thread on another board about the changes AuXpal keeps making with their rules. I find it amusing that the sellers off Yahoo were yelling and screaming because Yahoo wouldn't listen. Here is a site who listens and tries to please the sellers and they say there is something wrong with the site. Can't have it both ways people.

I agree with that completely. In reading some of those posts where people were actually critical of AuXpal for listening to their sellers and making changes based on their input, I couldn't help but think "Man, what a tough crowd!".
AuXpal may never go anywhere and you aren't likely to pull many (or maybe even any) bids at this stage in their development, but since I started listing there earlier this week I have found them to be extremely responsive and helpful. I will give them some respect for that if nothing else.
I rely on Ebay to make a living but I think we need a couple of strong alternate sites to list on as well. I don't want my entire livlihood in the hands of one auction site. For sites other than Ebay the listings must be free because none of them have any bidding activity. The only way to make a few bucks is to list a large number of auctions and collect money from the 5% or so that result in a sale.
This is why all of the Yahoo sellers are scrambling for an alternative. With a success rate way under 10% In our case about 5%) there is no way anyone will make money there while paying listing fees.

I have listed there a little over a week and have had several bids which is about par for my average on Yahoo and I don't have near the auctions listed. It will take awhile to build back up to 500+. Can't be any worse than Yahoo and at least I have customer service. LMAO
