Even as more and more good sellers leave Bidville, the klan continues to cheer about how much better Bidville will be November 6 when the Prez "pay or you are not welcome" plan kicks in. Even the book seller will not stop the numbers from dropping.
What will save the Bidville numbers? more penny cards!
I wish Dimview could do a list of how many auctions on Bidville start with a $1 bid or more. My guess would be about 50% and most of those are simply people using the sears catalog, posting items they don't own above catalog prices and hoping sears will have them in stock if and when a bidder bids.

This post is almost as ridiculous as all the "trailer trash" generalizations that have been made this week. For having such a hate on for a site you people sure spend a lot of time perusing it - I mean you'd have to, since we all know that nobody would make a comment stating that 50% of the items were auctions of unowned items from a Sears catalog, unless they knew that were to be true.....
Get a life people.

I have been selling over there loged in to the site jan 15 I think and have sold over 2,000 cards --- most were for a penny but some of them do go higher as one the other day went above 35.00.
not to bad for a new site.

How can anyone become so obsessed with hating something as inanimate as an auction site? Makes you wonder what their real life is like. I seldom even think about auctions, until time to sit down and do my listings, EOAs, or when I use them as an excuse to go to estate sales!
Life is too short to spend being mad!

BV isn't worth bitching about anymore. It's getting out of my system now. I am certain though that BV or the CEO will give up the chase in a few months and close down the shop for good.
I will maintain my biased-free BV numbers thread where I update the BV numbers every three days to see the trends there.

Who says I hate Bidville? I love its potential but hate its current direction. Give it a new owner and new direction and you just might have a real auction site.
Perhaps I was incorrect in my percentages
50% $1 or less
25% bootleg items
15% catalog items ---sears and others----
10% quality items
Speaking of having no life, it amazes me how people on Bidville keep calling folks who go from board to board trolls and yet here they come! And no one bothered to address the fact that so many good sellers are leaving and yet Sketer and others continue to brag in broken english about how good the site will be in a few days.

Let them live their life of delusion. Many of the posters on the boards are a true cancer but as Hillbliiy would wisely say "I don't own the site and the guy that does can run it as he sees fit". We can only sit back and watch it fail due to the often foolish moves of the lone owner. It's sad but it's not our failure.

Now this is really sad. A member trying to pay the jerk errrr Prez the $5 writes with questions. Typical of the Prez, this gets posted by the sucker ERRRRR member trying to send the money

Once again the Prez fails to respond. The great thing though is someone posted the home address for the guy.
