Hey guys/gals, there is a new auction site up and running...
www.bladeauctions.com
mainly all blades, swords etc but there is some misc stuff too...
This is NOT the Blade Auction site with switchblades and all that, this is a new one, the name is relatively close i know, but that is the Domain he wanted...
Anyway, I know the owner/operator personally, and he has decided to open his own site, tired of Ebay Politics (who isn't), ALSO as a bonus for new sellers, there is a $50 credit towards your listings when you register!!! His listing prices are lower than ebay too....
I have been around for a while AW/Vendio Store, Ebay, yahoo,Amazon,Ioffer, so I am not just advertising my friends site....
This is a nice site, with big plans for the future, he will be offering VERY nice stores in the future and weekly drawings for different things... Really cool.. Check it out!!

Yes I know I posted it before, Thanks for Reminding me....

And the $25 credit, I guess he chaged it, it was an introductory thing, when the site first opened, Still I think $25 Free is not to bad either....

I don't get it, why the negative remarks???

Support is needed for a new Site, Everyone gripes about all the Auction sites out there but does nothing about it, well here is a new site, trying to get a start, a little support would be helpful.....

I just thought people may want to know about the site, a new prospect...

Don't worry I don't get anything for posting it, I primarily sell swords, knives etc, and I know there are other people here that sell them also, I thought you/they might be interested in a different venue to sell their products.......

They seemed negative to me, or just pointing out my faults... Like the fact that I already posted the message, to me that is a negative response, or not very positive.... and the $25 credit seemed to me as being picky, I cannot control what the webmaster does with his site, he changed from $50 to $25, it seemed to me that they were asking me WHY it was changed.......

And yes I did read the posts, if you would read them, objectively, from my point you would see where I inferred that they were negative....

It's a matter of quasi-spamming the boards with repeated promotional posts.

Well I was not Quasi-Spamming anyone or any board....

I posted it once in the 'Any New Auction Sites' Thread.... and then I thought (which I guess I thought wrong) I should give it it's own thread so more people might see it, who could/might be interested in a new auction site, who do not read the other messages, I don't know about you or anyone else but I scan the topics before I open a thread to read it...

I give up.....

Do what you will, think what you will, obviously, none of you care about new auction sites....

So whoever is in charge of this can just delete this thread/post all together......

I thought I was being helpful by posting something new where people could possibly make some money, but I guess I just pissed everyone off by posting it Twice (oh god no, TWICE)

Whatever....

Good bye....

What exactly is the purpose of these message boards... for people to antagonize one another..

I just wanted to post something new, that I thought may be of interest, but obviously, there are to many children in these forums...

Is there a forum moderator who can check the ages and iq's, and maturity levels of these people....

So that childish attempt at pissing me off, will not work....

Grow up... Post something of use, instead of trying to provoke a response, and please find another forum if all you want to do is argue with other children..

And please don't respond, with the usual stupid comment about how old you are and all that bs... I think we can all see from your remarks, the age of your maturity...

I really think there should be some sort of guidlines for posting and responding to messages in the forum, either that or parents should not let their children use their accounts to antagonize decent people...

And please no childish response about 'decent people'...

Actually there probably will not be any mature response to this message, but I look forward to an attempt......

Insulting the posters of a board is not a good way to get viewers to your niche site.

Posting promotional information about a website once is welcomed and informational but posting the same promotional information twice is considered spam and against the Vendio TOS.

First I think it was I who was insulted first here, I am jsut defending myself....

Secondly, The first time I posted the message was a reply, this time it is it's own thread....

Thirdly, go in and count how many times other auction sites are being promoted...

Fourth, I see people post a link to there site everytime they post a reply, If that is not SPAM then I do not know what is...

I have seen the same links 50 or 60 times in the forums, I have posted the link Twice... Not in every message that I wrote or replied to, and I did not EVEN post my site once....

Can you clarify SPAM for me...

OR is it do as I say NOT as I do??

If it is against Vendio TOS, then why are people allowed to post a link to there site in EACH and EVERY message and reply they make???

I am really curious to hear the answer to this....

From what I've been told, after being slapped by adminstration on da boards, one's signature line can contain a link to one's VD STORE!

OTOH...

Well, that does not look like any vendio link I've every seen....

It may be a Short Url Link, which is a re-director, BUT IT IS NOT a VENDIO store link...

Let's get technical....
your link should read:http://shop.vendio.com/tomwiii

not the short URL link....

So it is spam, because you are NOT linking your store but a Short-Url re-direction of it....
That link does not take you directly to your store... It goes through another server first and not straight to the Vendio Site Name........

As I said TECHNICALLY it is SPAM.....

Replying to one thread, and posting another isn't spamming the board. The new owner probably appreciates new threads. Don't know if you've noticed, it's not very busy here.

Vendio should realize that it's harrassment like this that runs decent posters away. No other member has a right to tell another how, when or what to post. That's up to vendio.
