The site has a lot of potential. I haven't used them yet. I've checked them out and will keep my eyes open.

I like Dutchbid.com for my auctions. They are growing fast now with this thing about yahoo and ebay. Also at DutchBid you can get your own (store) cheap. Bidbay charges at least $100.00 for the same thing.

I plan on listing here. This site has GREAT potential to be a challenge to others.
The owner, Eric is available to everyone, even a minority handful of whiney people, that have been nothing but demanding since he started.
He, and his site are a CLASS-ACT.
No comparison to bb, or the defunct golds chat room (like comparing Champagne to cheap beer).
This is a REAL auction site, and I hope it makes it.

Dutchbid is great. Great service/support, open to suggestions and they're implemented quickly, of my first 5(?) items listed, 2 sold in a week. They have solid business sense!!
I'm on a short break now .. was sick for 2 1/2 weeks now MSN only lets me online when it feels like it! Grrr!
Anyway .. dutchbid is my new home!!
I have a memory like a steel trap .. unfortunately it's rusted shut!

Aloha!
We personally rate DutchBid.com as a (very HARD) working site in progress with great potential!! We have already signed up for our own Seller's Channel there and are looking forward to doing business...
The owner and support there seem very genuine in their efforts to offer an appealing online auction alternative... Wherever possible, they accomodate our needs and wants or are effective in addressing our concerns where necessary. All this, while in the midst of all the upgrading that will enhance this growing site!!
2 thumbs up here!

DB gets 5 stars from me. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is because it isn't widely known yet and therefore user numbers are not high.
The CEO is always around and willing to answer any questions and take suggestions. Support Staff is very efficient.
They have made dozens of improvements in a very short time, and really care about the sellers needs.
C'mon over to DB and give it a whirl..you'll like it.

This site has a LOT of potential!
Not enough bidders yet but the growth over such a short time is amazing, if it keeps up that problem will correct itself very soon. The site is a little slow, but they are actively working to resolve that and have had a good deal of success already. They're not too feature-rich, but are also doing everything they can to remedy that. They have added an unbelievable amount in a very short time and are continually working on more. There are still a few bugs, but that is to be expected with so many upgrades and all that are found are fixed immediately.
The biggest reason for hope for DutchBid is that the owner and support staff are unbelievably responsive and have no qualms whatsoever about learning from their users. Most admin folks think they already know it all about what makes a great site, but the people who really know what's going on and what should be going on is the sellers! Eric seems to have a clear business plan but still realizes that we are a great knowledge asset and is willing to seriously consider any worthwhile suggestion! I have no doubt he'll end up with a site that is extremely comfortable for both sellers and buyers. I plan on sticking around to find out!

Dutchbids have made great improvments as far as the seller control panel and user friendliness.
But
They claimed they would stop sending invoices for every item as well as a closing auction email but they haven't
For every item I listed I get 2 emails for every resubmit. Invoices for FREE LISTINGS and EOA for resubmitted items.
I told them quite a while ago I would never submit another item until they stopped with the constant emails...... and they havent yet.

It was always Dutchbid.
The owner has bent over backwards to give everyone what they want.
They had a deal fall through with the former owners of golds (another auction site that bit the dust because they didn't charge).

Have to add my vote that this is a site with a lot of potential. Good customer service, great base group of users (guess I missed the whiny, demanding ones. LOL!)

auctiongaurd started these threads on RATING sites and when he/she did not get the response he/she wanted he/she asked to have the ePier thread locked.
My opinion is that auctiongaurd only wanted to cause discontent with users of the FREE sites. I get this impression from his/her following post to another thread: PLEASE READ:
Does this sound like someone that wants sites RATED, or someone that wants FREE sites off the internet?

Wabmester,
That is halarious! But you are right. People have been accustomed to getting their services on the Internet for free. I've said this before, I think that on a particular date ALL of the online auction sites should begin starting fees INCLUDING basic listing fees. If all of them did this it would clean up the industry from the littered three cent garbage and turn the industry into a respectable e-commerce marketplace.
It would also weed out the less adaquate sites and provide a revenue stream for those that survive that would allow for branding, advertising, and upkeep.
Sure it would also make a lot of sellers abandon the auction industry for good, but if I were a business I would rather have 1000 paying customers over 10,000 non-paying ones.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Sounds a little too much like eBay talking to me, with the e-commerce marketplace idea.
