Goodness! And I thought I was the only one having trouble with PP.
I'm new to this board and if I had known before about all the PP-hassles, I never had signed up.
I'm from Germany and I was waiting for months until they finally did accept international users. I really was happy to sign up with them. But even Paypal's verification process is a real hassle. I myself did not know what I did, when I promised three weeks ago to somebody from Singapore, to sign up with them.
It took me all my nervs and lots of telephone calls to receive these damned two verification codes. But it finally worked.
The first 4 payments went through, although the first attempt usually was denied. Well, so far so good, but when I tried again, they first denied again. But at the second time they restricted my account. Now all my other
sellers are waiting for their funds now, due to the fact that Paypal does not work. I hope they don't are getting too nervous.

Yesterday I tried to call them. Fortunately I got their phone number from my German CreditCard Company who was already aware of the problems PP is experiencing. It took me hours to catch a free line and the there was again a long waiting period with a lady mumbling always the same boring phrase. Finally a friendly guy named Bob was answering. He promised to get in touch with their customer service (I was pleased to hear they have one). It should be fixed until today. But my account keeps beeing restricted and my sellers are still waiting for payment.

What I learned from this board is, that I should not trust their promises to fix my account quickly. I'll better use BidPay again assuming their additional fees, rather than catching negativ feedbacks from unpatient sellers.

Or has somebody any idea about what I could do else to get PainPal working?

You are probably lucky that your account doesn't work. Just wait until you start paying folks and receiving nothing in return and Paypal tells you tough luck. Or someone pays you with a stolen credit card and Paypal freezes your account. They haven't even managed to get it working in the US yet. Why spread the plague internationally?

You're probably right. I'm going to get a bit nerveous reading all the negative experiences. Will wait for a limited period of time only to see, if they are lifting the restrictions of my account or not. Then I'll better close it and wait for future enhancements (if there are any). Michael
