I tried using AMPro on a Macintosh using Virtual PC (Win 98). Each time I try to add an image, the program gets an error in the kernel.dll and shuts down.
I contacted customer service and they said that several users have reported this problem and recommended uninstalling and then reinstalling the AMPro software.
This did not work. I went out and got the Windows ME version hoping that would take care of the problem. No luck, it gives me the same error.

Dear Radu,
Thanks for getting back on this so quickly. However, I fixed the problem.
Virtual PC (VPC) uses a dynamically expanding "hard drive" as its default. I read somewhere that a kernel32.dll error could be caused by low hard drive space, so I decided to switch VPC to a fixed hard drive.
Doing that fixed the problem. Apparently AMPro, when it tries to write an image, is moving too fast for VPC to dynamically expand the drive and because of that the error occurs.
The downside to all of this is that the minimum hard drive size is 10 GB... so even though I'm not using anywhere near that much space, VPC uses it up.
