Ebay has just now announced that seller's will be able to opt out completely from their Checkout program, so that it will not appear on their ended auction page.
For those of us who have endured the dreadful Checkout, this is good news.
So will auctions launched through AW support this? If not, when please?

Ok, so it is now active, but has it been integrated into Auction Manager Pro, can we choose to opt out of it when launching our auctions through AMP?

I am wondering the same thing concerning AW and opt-out.
I have signed the opt-out at Ebay, and double checked that it still says opt-out just now. When I use AM-PRO tonight will I need to delete the sentences I wrote in my AW preferences to explain I do not use check-out? Will my opt-out at Ebay show up? Or will I be stuck with a mess; no explanation & no opt-out?

Hi there,
eBay Checkout opt-out has been enabled, and we are working as quickly as possible to accommodate this option. We have noted a problem in relation to Billpoint - if Billpoint is checked as a payment option, your buyer will be given the option to pay for the item without shipping/handling included.
We are working with eBay developers right now in order to eliminate this problem - in the meantime, you should be able to work around it by deselecting the Billpoint option when you list your auction. If Billpoint is deselected, and you've opted-out of checkout on eBay, your customers will be instructed to be in contact with you for the total amount.
I hope this helps, and thank you for your patience.
