I have finally managed to get 92 items in my storefront but I encountered 2 bugs and some operational problems along the way:
1. <BUG> In SM Pro, when moving items from inventory to batch, the program crashes if you move too many. I think the threshold is at 8 entries, but to be safe I moved 5 at a time once I figured it out.
2. <BUG> When uploading a large batch, SM Pro is prone to crashes. Here the threshold is around 20, I think.
3. Upload of an item twice produces double entries in the on-line inventory, one of which must be deleted manually. This should be handled as an overridable error.
4. There doesn't appear to be any way of 'reporting' the inventory contents from SM Pro.
5. There is no obvious way to back up the inventory.
6. The local copy cannot be refreshed from the on-line copy.
There are problems with nearly every software product. I worked on a process control system that was sold long before it was robust enough for customer use; it failed in the marketplace because customers didn't trust it. Don't fall into the same trap.
Do you need beta testers on a new version of the SM products? I doubt that beta versions would be much buggier than this--so I'd be glad to try them for you.

Thank you for the suggestions. The problems you have encountered with SMPro usually are connection related, and can in large part have to do with the memory you have available and whether or not you are running Pro with anything else open in the background. If the problems increase, please let us know so we can investigate them. Unfortunately, inventory in Pro does not sync up with your online inventory.
We will contact you if we need beta testers in the future.
