I initally created sveral items in a batch for auctions. I then opened an AW store. How can I tak these items and enter them into my store without relisting them as an auction?

Hi Eaglewolf,

Are these items offline still? Or do you have them uploaded to your account? Let me know so I can give you the proper instructions.

They were orginally upload for auctions, and I still have then offline. So I guess you can say both.

Hi Eaglewolf,

Are they in a batch right now? You would need to get them over to inventory -- if they are already in inventory you don't have to do this but if they are in a batch, what you would do is open up inventory, and drag the items from the batch to the inventory t(this copies them there). Now, open a new batch window (this is going to be for the items you will upload to your storefront). From inventory, drag and drop each item to the new batch window. You'll be prompted to select a venue, at which point you would select Storefront and fill out the store information. Then when you are finished you can upload that batch and the items will go right to your store as fixed price items.

This is a very helpful thread! Now where do you go or how do you... remove items in your store? I can't seem to find it.
Thanks
Paula

Hi Paula,

To remove a storefront item, go to the item in inventory and decrease the Quantity Available scroll in the Storefront Information tab to zero. The item will then remove itself from your storefront.

Hi Sonya
Thank you found it! One more question and then I will take this to the correct form... I'm having senior/blond moment today Maybe this is the right form... I see in inventory that some items are listed twice. If I delete one and it is attached to an aucion, will I be deleting the auction, too. Or are these attached to the auctions... I just started using this and don't quite understand what is going on. I list my inventory in the inventory modual and keep track by using folders. I then drag or drop to a listing auction or store front... NOW, when I want to auction something in the store front which is acting as a display case for all my inventory. Do I delete it from inventory (on line) to delete it from the store and then move it to a batch to upload?
Thanks
Paula

Hi Paula,

You won't delete the auction if you delete the inventory item. However if you have a fixed price item in your storefront and you delete the inventory item, that will also delete the item in your store.

If you wanted to remove a fixed price item from your store and turn it into an auction, what you can do is decrease the quantity available in the storefront information tab to zero. Then fill out the Auction Information tab for that item, the Site Specifics for the auction venue, and launch it from your online inventory. You wouldn't need to go back to your batch offline and do it.

I hope this helps!

Hello
I am working in the Inventory management again today and can't figure out how to get the items that are currently up for auction to show in that column. Is there a way?
thank you
Paula

Hi Paula,

If you have active auctions you want to put in your inventory as well, you will need to click the "Copy" link for that auction (in the active column) to copy it to pending. Then edit the auction in pending, check off the "save to inventory" option, and save your changes. This will place the auction in your inventory, and you can then delete the pending listing as you will no longer need it.

Thank you Sonya
I would like to suggest a couple of things. Could Airborne Ground be added as a choice for shipping?
Would it be possible to put an Archive button next to the return button that shows up after feedback has been sent?
In the inventory module, there is a column for Qty at Auction, Qty in Storefront & Qty Inventory... the Qty at auction doesn't appear to be working... how does one use this column?
thanks
Paula
