Hi! Has AuctionWatch come up with (or are you working on) a solution to the new Postal Zone rate system? I find this to be a real pain having to wait for a zip code code in order to be able to give a shipping total to a customer? Has anyone out there come up with a good solution? I have noticed that some sellers have charts or shipping calculators on their auction pages. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello beanangel,
USPS calculated shipping is now available through our system (the latest version of Pro includes this as well.)
Calculated shipping will eliminate the need for you to obtain the zip code from your customer - you enter the package dimensions and weight, and as your customer checks out the shipping will be calculated automatically based on their address.
You can enable this function under My Account -> Global Preferences.
Please let us know if you have any questions about this.

I decided to try the calculated function on my auctions...but when the WBNs go out, the shipping and handling comes out as $0. AMP does prompt me to enter a weight (if I forget when creating my batches) and I have and do enter weights on the auctions. I thought the WBN would say something like "click here to obtain your SH" or something like that, instead of putting in $0. What's going wrong??

Hi Jaymark9,
You need to have USPS Priority Calculated as your shipping option. I just checked your global preferences and you don't have it selected. If it says $0.00 then that means you have the wrong one (you will know it is right when it says cal'c in the price box and you are prompted to enter weight and shipping dimensions).
