Had several auctions close on 11/29, for which I received payment this week. Three buyers had not included payment for shipping, and in each case, included a printout of their checkout notice from AW. In each case, the auction listing included a media mail rate for shipping, which I have double-checked to make sure there was not an error in info entry. The printout showed "USPS Priority" shipping, and a $0.00 amount for shipping, and a Total Due which is the bid only. I rarely ever send items Priority Mail, but have a space for it in my listing preferences. I realize that customers should check the listing and know that there is a shipping fee, but the lack of a correct total on the email creates confusion. Have also had several emails from customers double-checking that I am not providing free shipping. Any ideas on how this happened?
I looked at your Global Preferences and you have three shipping options selected, but each says $0.00 for monetary amount. When you create your listings you will need to put in a money value for shipping -- this will cause it to stop coming up like you have free shipping.

My Global Preferences are exactly what they have been for quite some time: I have the three shipping options, but enter the shipping amount in only the appropriate one. The other two have not shown up with a "$0.00" amount of the checkout process before. Have recently started using the off-line program to do listings, but this problem has not happened on every listing. I double-checked the listings where the problem occurred and the shipping amount was entered exactly as I have been doing for quite some time. Has something changed, or is it something with the offline program?
I'm not sure if it was PRO that was the culprit in changing your preferences but what I see is three options checked, each with $0.00 shipping. You could leave it at that and just make sure you pick the right shipping on a per listing basis so nothing goes out with zeros.

Hi - From what I can see, preferences have not changed. I have always had the three options and always fill the in the shipping cost in the appropriate option. The point is that the dollar amount I entered in the "Custom: USPS Media Mail" box, did not go through to the email the buyer received, and was not included in the "Total Amount Due," as it has in the past. I have checked other auctions during the same period, and most of them included the shipping cost I entered in the total due. Nevertheless, will watch auctions ending next week closely to see if the problem occurs again. Thanks for your help.
