Would those of you who use the inventory option please let me know when it its valuable?

We run estate sales and have new items all the time. We do need inventories so that we know whose is whose. But does the inventory go away after an auction. My inventory is building and nothing going away.

If I list the inventory first and then use the inventory list to put the auction on, will it track the inventory?

Thanks for your help.

Tom

Hello,

Inventory does not go away when an auction is finished. It will remain there forever, or until you decide to delete an inventory item.

If you are using SMPro, keep in mind that online and offline inventory do not synchronize. So if you were launching from Pro inventory, when the item finishes if it does not sell it won't automatically go back to Pro inventory. In cases like that, you would need to manually increase the quantity available for that item in your Pro inventory.

Regards,

Sonya
