The problem I'm having with Vendio Checkout is that people who live in my state tell me the new checkout does not allow them to add their 6 percent sales tax. As a temporary fix, I have kept the PayPal Instant Purchase button aimed at PayPal, and they can enter their sales tax that way. I would prefer to have everything go through Vendio, though. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Marshall,
Your account is set-up correctly, and you give your buyers the option to add a tax. You also have included a message stating that your buyers are kindly requested to add a sales tax. However, they should manually add this tax, using the combo boxes for the amount. This information is present in the checkout pages, and is displayed for all your customers (i.e. we do not filter customers from a given state).
