I started a new thread because I am not sure you noticed a follow up to your original reply.
Here's what I posted. If anyone can help or offer suggestions to solve this problem , it would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Sonya. Thanks for replying but you essentially just repeated what I already know. What I want to know is why I can't place my pictures and have the option of centering the item. By having the item default to the left it creates a long strand of text down the right side of the picture which leaves a listing with a picture in the top left corner and the text running in a narrow strand down the right side. I can't simply make an item wider without creating a distorted scan or absurdly large picture. Why are we able to choose picture placement in templates but not in our stores. I have opened my store temporarily so you can see what I am referring to. The first auction shows what I want a listing to look like and the second shows the problem with the auto default of the image to the left.

Hi Vianett,
I will log a suggestion on your behalf with Product Development to have the ability to place your image in the top center in your store items. Right now, if you want the image to go there, you have to make them wider than 150 pixels -- that will default it to the center. I know that it is something you already know, but it is the only workaround at this time if you want to have your images there.

Thanks Sonya. I appreciate your response. I hope we are soon able to choose picture placement in our stores. It would certainly be alot easier for us if we had that ability.
