Hi
Besides wanting to know the answer to my previous post, can you please tell me where I find the box that contains the message that acknowledges a note that a buyer leaves for me?
You know, the little box is checked to acknowledge receipt of the message...
I checked my preferences and can't seem to find it.

Hi Paula,
If you click on the yellow note icon, a pop up will appear that contains your message. The 'acknowledge receipt of message' message should be selected -- click on update to validate the message. It's not located anywhere in your preferences, you have to do it on a per message basis.
I have answered your other post -- my apologies for the delay.

Hi Sonya
I don't think we are talking about the same thing.
I couldn't find the yellow note you are talking about. I have right clicked on everything and can't find what you are referring to.
Please take a look at auction #2850372763 in my post sale. There is a red explanation mark. If you click on the "!" the message pops up in a separate box, there is a box to click that says "Acknowledge receipt of message" and a Notes box.
You told me the Notes box is only seen by me. So the questions are:
When we acknowledge the message we received, what does the acknowledgment say?
Can it be changed?
It can only be seen by you. If you acknowledge it, it doesn't send anything to the customer or you. All it will do is, in the post sale view, instead of it being yellow it will be white. And if you are looking at the detail view for it, the 'acknowledge' button will be gone.

Hi Sonya
I am sorry. I don't think I understand.
You are saying that if I check the box that says:
"Acknowledge receipt of message"
It means nothing. If it is not checked, it means nothing.
Then why is it there? A selectable box usually indicates a choice to do or not do something.
The other thing that confuses me is you keep referring to yellow and white. The colors of the items I am referring to are Red to indicate there is a message for the seller and black for after you read the message.

Hello Paula,
How are you doing? Hope all is well with you.
The "Acknowledge Receipt of Message" button which you see on the Post Sale Fullment Checklist page if for your benefit. No acknowledgement is sent to the buyer. Once you have clicked on the button, the button will then disapear but the message remains for your benefit. If the buyer sends another note, it then re-appears.
But, if you are in the Post Sale display option, in front of the title you will see a yellow icon letting you know that the buyer has left a note for you. If you have viewed this note then the icon is then white. If you click on the icon a box will pop up with the message from the buyer.
Paula, if you go to display options -> Post Sale you will see the yellow icon in front of the item which you were referring to. Hope that this helps, please let us know if we can further assist.

Hi Tara
I am doing well, thank you... except for being dense.
Thank you, I get it now, sort of.
Please tell Sonya that I was being dense and not reading the whole screen or reply!
It would be awesome if that button actualy sent an acknowledgement to the client.
The New! Notification when feedback received and additional post-sale automation, is Awesome!
