Just starting to use program, I'm being told to sycronize. Error message "Invalid use ID" Don't know what to do.
Is this your first attempt to synch, or have you been able to do so before and simply cannot right now?
Try going to the top of the page, click on 'edit+preferences' and verify your username for Vendio is entered correctly. It should appear just as you see it here in the Message Center, ANGELASOBJECTSOFDESIRE.

This is my first time trying to use Vendio, and as yet have not been able to syncronize. I followed your suggestion and get the same results. Anyone else have any ideas?

Hello Robert,
Please close SMPro, go to the data folder of your SMPro installation (usually 'C:\Program Files\Vendio') and manually remove the files named:
- prefs.dat
- Preferences.map
Then, start SMPro; you will be prompted again for the Vendio username and password.

Did just what you told me and got the same results. Did it again and rebooted, same results, "bad response from server." Please, help!

Hello Robert,
At least you are not getting the invalid user ID error message any longer, as that was a different issue than the one you are running into now.
First, disable any and all other programs you may have open or running on your system before you try to synch again. Browsers, antivirus, firewall, popup blockers, spam filters, anything you have open or running in the background while online. Many of these programs can cause problems for Pro to be able to synch properly.
Reboot your machine, close out of all of these programs, then launch and attempt to synch your copy of the Pro software again.

Hello there,
I am going to have to escalate this to engineering, as I am not sure what the problem could be. I will let you know when I hear back. I am very sorry for the inconvenience, but you might want to use Sales Manager online until we can find someone to work with you.
