I downloaded the "critical updates" for version 6.0 yesterday afternoon and ever since then, everytime I try to launch a batch, I get the following error after clicking on the details button:

There is a problem with images synchronization.
Please check the sync log, visible after clicking the Details button, to see which image file halted the sync process, then go to www.Vendio.com and check the status of the image.
If its upload failed (which might be due to excessive size, invalid format, or corrupted data), please remove the image from the SMPro Image Bar. If this is not possible, use Windows Explorer to go to the "C:\PROGRAM FILES\VENDIO\images" folder on your hard disk, delete the file manually and restart SMPro.

Please help as this is very frustrating!!! I have tried reinstalling the program several times but that doesn't help!!

Hello,

Reinstalling the program isn't going to help the synchronization error, actually. In order to diagnose which image file(s) are causing the sync error, please try the following:

1. After closing all batches, click the "Synchronize" icon in the lefthand toolbar.

2. Click the "Details" button after synchronization starts. This will give you a detailed log of which specific images and/or preferences are being synchronized.

3. When the synchronization halts, you should see an indicator in the details log that will tell you which image file halted the synchronization process.

4. Once you have the image file name, try deleting it from the image bar in SM Pro. Repeat this process until all images are synchronized.

You may upload the image(s) that were halting synchronization directly to our website using the Image Hosting page, and then reimport them into SM Pro after they are online. This way, those particular images will not need to go through the synchronization process.

There are several reasons why an image file may halt synchronization, but most commonly it is due to excessive image size, invalid image format, or corrupted image data. You might also want to check the security level on your browser, anti-virus software, and/or firewall software, as these can prevent image downloads as well.

If the above solutions do not help, here are some additional steps that may solve the problem:

- Go to your Vendio (or AuctionWatch) folder on your hard drive (default location is My Computer -> C -> Program Files -> Vendio (or AuctionWatch if you have been installing updates into your original AuctionWatch folder.)

- Check both the "Images" and "Thumbs" folders, and if the image file(s) are still in either folder, delete them manually.

- Restart SM Pro after doing this, and try synching again.

If this doesn't do the trick, try deleting the images.map folder from the data folder in the Vendio (or AuctionWatch) directory, and resynch.

Please let us know if you continue to have trouble with this.

Regards,

Sonya

I synched in the SMPro and it doesn't tell me which image is the problem, so I deleted the images.map folder in the Data File but that doesn't help. When I try launching a batch, I still get that error and it doesn't tell me what the problem is. When I click on the Details Button, I get the following error:

Hello,

Thanks for posting your Details. Please go to your Preferences icon in Pro, and make sure this option is unchecked:

"upload images only as required in batches"

Then, try to synch your batch. Please let us know if it synchs successfully.

Regards,

Sonya
