I have finally figured a way to save my basic information from the template I used with my other service. I am using a blank template in Vendio and then I just copy all the html and then go back and fill in the blanks.
This is working but there are a couple of problems.
1. There is so much in the html information it takes almost a minute just to paste it into the description each time. That really adds up to wasted time when you try to do a lot of listings a day.
2. I have to hunt and search for places where I then go back and fill in my information (such as the real description, shipping costs, etc).
Is there a way to somehow have a "dummy" listing I can just copy over and over and over and change what is needed (with the dummy one only having my template information?
Maybe doing it online is the answer? And is there a way to avoid all the copy and paste every time?
The ability to add permanent text to a blank template would fix this. I use two different templates. One for records and one for postcards and it would really be nice to be able to just chose one with all the data already in it.
What I am doing will work, but I thought it was worth checking to see if there is an easier way as I will be listing thousands of items.

I have also wondered if there was a way to do this. For me all they would have to do is add a "copy" icon in the batch window in SMPro. Kind of like the copy icon in SMME online under pending listing's. In the SMME online I can make a listing and save it with minimal information in it and then use the copy function to create as many listing's as I need. The addition of a copy icon in the SMPro batch window would be a nice upgrade. One to stick on the vendio wish list
They say your memory's the second thing to go, I just can't remember what the first thing is.

Hello,
I would recommend you to save an SM Pro batch with one or more default listings.
Whenever you need to start a new listing from one of the defaults:
- open the Default batch
- drag and drop the chosen default listing to the new batch that you are preparing for upload
- or, right click the default listing and click Copy in the contextual menu, then move the mouse to the new batch, right click then click Paste in the contextual menu; both these actions copy the listing from the Default batch to the new batch
- then, go ahead and edit the copied listing.
