I change the wording in my Ebay site specifics Payment & Return Policy section several times and synched it with SmPro. The change will not change...it still lists with the old information. I have to manually change each one once it gets into the pending file online by copying the info from the My account section and pasting into the listing. This is a pain and a realy time waster........please advise. Thank you.

Hello,

Is this happening on both the brand new items that you create or just on items that you are listing via saved batches?

If the latter, try editing one of the saved items (even if you dont make any changes) and schedule the item to list at a later time/date: (so you can then undo the launch and see if the new directions are there or not)

Christopher

It is happening on the brand new listings I create on SmPro and then upload to the pending file even though I have tried synching desktop with online several times.

Hello,

Are you using the most recent version of the SMPro software?

Also, when did you make the change?

Ill sync a copy of SMPro here to your account to test further and report back with the findings.

I am using Version 7.0, Build 1369. I had made a change a few weeks back and then when I went to relist them online, couldn't figure out why it had the old wording in it. So I changed it again a week or two ago and still had the same problem. I changed it last Wednesday or Thursday again, wrote up some listings on Wednesday and Saturday and then wanted to change something in a couple of them this morning and noticed that the very old wording was in there and not any of the more recently changed ones. So I had to open my account - Ebay preferences and copy and past the wording into the Payment instructions box.

Hello,

I tested one item right now, which you will see in your pending section, but your current 'Payment Instructions & Return Policy' for eBay did appear once I went and unscheduled the item from your pending section.

At first I thought maybe you were looking in the wrong section, as there is a Vendio payment instructions section that appears in the item description (and preview) and sometimes users confuse the two.

As for relisting, the items will retain the details they had when originally launched. Anything that had the old directions will continue to do so unless edited first.

Christopher

I don't have this problem when I list from the online version/Sales Manager. Just from the desktop application. I checked a few others that are in pending from the other day and they have my old wording in them, so will have to edit - again. I will be listing again this afternoon or tomorrow so will spot check as I go along and let you know. Thanks for checking I hope the problem is fixed as I don't want to have to edit all my listings. I have enough in pending to do now as it is.

Hi,
I don't know if this will help you or not but I had the same issue as you a few months back.
What I ended up doing (after being very frustrated) is talking with eBay support and having them MANUALLY change it for me.
That finally fixed it for me once and for all.

Sarah
