For at least a week when I click on Preview in SMP.. nothing shows up. My auctions still upload and everything is fine, but it would be nice to see them before uploading. Also, none of my custom templates show when I click view. The basic numbered templates show up, but the custom do not. How can I fix this?
It is possible that the DHTML library files are no longer properly registered
on your system. Please register them again, thus:
Go to the "c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Triedit" folder.
Register each of the DLL and OCX files in this directory:
- Right click on it
- Choose "Open with..."
- Click "Choose program..."
- Click "Other"
- Find regsvr32.exe. It is in your "Windows\system32" folder
- Click Open.
If some templates do show up, but others don't, please look at pieces of code (HTML or JavaScript) which are part of those templates for which preview fails. It is possible that such a piece of code breaks the SM Pro preview; if so, you might want to alter the code, to make sure that it does not create issues with rendering your templates in other contexts too.

The code for the templates? Huh? I have no idea what that means or how to go about looking at it. Dummy down for me please!

Nothing changed that I know of. It simply didn't work one day. The basic templates work, but any I've imported do not show at all on the Preview. In fact nothing at all shows on the preview when I use any template that I've imported. It used to work fine. Do I need to delete them then re-do them? ::sigh::

Oh, I can see the templates when I am re-listing an item, in the edit feature, but that is when I am on the Vendio website, I cannot see them on the SMP on my computer.

Ok, so I went back into the template area and renamed and saved the templates I had made, and those show up now in SMP.
If you ever make changes to your templates, to see the changes in SM Pro you have to synch, and then close and restart SM Pro. Once you do this, the changes to your templates will be visible in Pro.
Let us know if you have any further trouble with this.
