If you put in the description information and then click on the HTML editor - there is nothing there? That's not the way it used to work!

Hi there,

If you are noticing different behavior with SM Pro than you're used to, please try rebooting your computer. Also, limit the number of applications you have running at the same time to a bare minimum. Please let us know if this doesn't help.

Thanks,

Diana

I've done all that and still have the problem. To make it worst, I did a nice description for a group of item and I decided to try the HTML editor again. Still didn't work and when I went back my description was gone.
Should I uninstall or is there a later edition I need.

Hello,

What version of Sales Manager Pro are you using?

Also, can you think of any changes that were made to your computer shortly before the HTML editor stopped working for you? For example, did you install any new programs, or make any other changes on your computer?

Does the HTML editor work for you if you go to the HTML editor first, then type the description directly into the HTML editor, and then click OK? Or does the description disappear when you try it this way, just as it does when you type in the description and then select the HTML editor?

Regards,
Nathan

Tell me again how to tell the version I'm using? I'll check out the other stuff and post a reply soon.

Hello,

While there *is* a newer version of the SMPRO software, there isn't anything different in how it's HTML editor works compared the last 4 or 5 versions of the program.

That isn't to say that upgrading won't help, but only as much as simply reinstalling the same version you have right now would.

Try simply reinstalling the program, by downloading a new copy and running through the install process the same as you would if you were starting from scratch. This will update the copy you have now to the 7.0.2 version instead.

Let us know if this problem persists, as well as any possible software or hardware changes that you can recall taking place since it last functioned properly.

Regards,
Christopher

It's out again. I had a file deleted by my virus program called s2(1).html. Could that be the problem?
Thanks
