Hello. I signed up for a second Vendio account and am quite confused as everything is signficantly different than this account. The most obvious things are the layout, and no access to the Community, No SM Pro off line listing, and so on. Did I miss something, or is there a way to have both accounts similar so I know what exactly I am doing? It seems that the Andale name is all over the new account name: sputco. Please help.

Hello,

We are still in the middle of the transition to a combined listing tool for the two services, so you do have a different system from your classic Vendio style account.

If you prefer to have another account exactly like the one you have now, you will need to close this new one and reregister for a new account.

When you register your new account, use THIS link to register it. Don't select any other services, just get the account setup with a new username. Once you have the account setup, you can add the services/tools you need and you will have the classic Vendio tools like you do now.

Our apologies for the delay in responding.

Regards,
Christopher

Will I still be able to use the name I chose for my account after I close it?

No offense, but this information would have been helpful before I started this process and dealt with 3 days of frustration trying to "fix" the problem myself. An announcement or something to inform people of the changes.

I've wasted a good 8-10 hours of my time trying to figure this all out, only to be told I have to close my account and start all over using a different link. I pay Vendio alot of money already to have to be placed on the back burner for almost 2 days and get the response I received.

If I seem frustrated, I am.

Hello,

I apologize for the confusion. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reuse the account name for the new account.

Regards,
Nathan

thanks for the help, however there are no instructions in cacelling the account anywhere on vendio or andale information. Throughout this process i have also been billed $6.74 in image hosting fees, yet haven't used the account because of this problem. I have not uploaded any photos, or listed any auctions. I hope that my fees will be refunded to my account and no future billing will occur.

I have been trying to get this account set up for over a week now. I have emailed Vendio, called Vendio, and the only responses I am getting is here and even here it is very slow.

I emailed a request to cancel my account yesterday as suggested above. I would like to know how long this process will take?

I have missed a full week of 1 cent listing opportunities because of this and would like someone to call me regarding these issues.

I am quite disappointed in how this process is going, and I shouldn't have to go through all of these hoops to close my account so that I can reopen it the way it should have been opened in the first place by your company. There is no excuse for such poor customer service.

Hello,

We did get your email requesting to close your other account in the AM of 3/30, and the request is being finalized. The account is already closed as of yesterday morning when we first received your request to do so, and the billing team is taking care of the refund now for the charges on the account. (for which you will receive a confirmation)

Did you want to just reactivate your existing second Vendio account 'rustygumbo' - or were you going to start a brand new one instead?

If your starting a brand new one, use the directions posted on 3/26 explaining how to get the account in the style you want - something you can do anytime, you do not have to wait for your other account to be closed (even though it already is, just pending the due refund) so you can get started.

To recap, the directions for getting another account in the classic Vendio style are as follows:
When you register your new account, use THIS link to register it. Don't select any other services, just get the account setup with a new username. Once you have the account setup, you can add the services/tools you need and you will have the classic Vendio tools like you do now.

Regards,
Christopher

Great, one problem though... I went to sign up for a new account using a new account name... and now it won't accept my email address as it is currently registered to another user... sputco. I imagine the same thing will also happen when I attempt to register my credit card, and any other information.

I cannot change my email address, so something needs to happen on your end to resolve these problems and it should be done quickly. I have surpassed a week now of trying to resolve this problem, I think enough is enough. I have brought alot of money to Vendio and expect some better service and quicker responses. A phone call would be ideal.

Hi,

We have cleared your email address so you can use it in your new account. Sorry you didn't have another to use in a temporary fashion while getting the new account setup.

You can use the same credit card, no issues there. Once you register the new account, we will move your eBay ID from your sputco account to whatever your new name ends up being manually, as when you try to store your eBay ID in the sputco account into the new one currently you will get an error message.

Once you have your new name registered let us know, either in one of the two different threads you have open, email using the customer service link, or if you have live support on your account you could also use the chat or phone request system.

Regards,
Christopher

One last question... when Vendio completes the process of merging with Andale, will all of the accounts be able to use SMPro?

I would prefer to have my old account name.

Hello,

You can now store your sputco eBay ID into your new Vendio account without any errors, and use the listing tools as needed.

Unfortunately we are not sure yet if the two systems would be able to switch back and forth between products at this time, chances are your sputco account that was just closed will remain under the new system and wouldn't be able to go back to the old Vendio SMPRO system (but we haven't gotten to this step yet, so we can't yet say for sure.)

Regards,
Christopher
