Seems that I read that if you have no item details and the prospective buyer is looking for items, they won't find yours if they start clicking on on the details on the search page. When I try to add item details from Vendios listing page, I only get a box to check if the item is new. I rarely sell a "new" item because I sell antiques and collectibles. I've been having to go in when the item is listed on ebay and revise them all adding the appropriate details. Any way around this?

Hello,

Which item details are you referring to, exactly? Do you mean the Item Specifics? If so, you should be able to add these through Vendio. Please let us know one of the items where you have had this problem, and also confirm whether you are using the Sales Manager Pro software or our online listing form in order to list the items.

Regards,
Nathan

Hello,

Sure, I can check your pending listings. What is the name of one of the pending listings that you have had trouble with? Are you referring to the item specific information, or some other item detail? Also, did you create the item through our online website or through the Sales Manager Pro software?

Regards,
Nathan

Yes, I mean item specifics. Here is an auction where I didn't revise it after it was listed. 300333764520

If I go into the listing to revise it, I can pick specifics such as Brand & Maker, Type, Region and Style.

I use smpro to create my auctins. Can I not choose item specifics from there?

Hello,

Note also that not all eBay categories currently support Item Specifics: the Item Specifics fields displayed in the "Create Listing" page are for your item's main category if that category supports them. Otherwise, the Item Specifics fields displayed are for your item's second category if that category supports them. If neither category supports Item Specifics, no Item Specifics fields are displayed.

Note that for the sample item you mentioned above, this doesn't have any preformatted item specifics to set by eBay. You can however setup custom item specifics, and when you list from eBay or from the online Sales Manager, you can also define these user created custom item specifics.

Regards,
Chris

Hello,

You can add the basic Item Specifics through Sales Manager Pro, but not the Custom Item Specifics (which are the only item specifics that are available for the category that is associated with the item you referenced, unfortunately). For those items, you may work around the problem by uploading them from Sales Manager Pro to your online Vendio account (but not scheduling or launching them). Then locate the item in your list of pending listings, click on the title of the item, and add the Custom Item Specific information (it is located immediately above the "Features" section).

Regards,
Nathan

I would have no idea how to upload them to my online vendio account.

Hello,

You may do this in Sales Manager Pro when creating an item by selecting "Don't Schedule" under the "Basic Information" tab. Then upload the batch as normal.

Regards,
Nathan
