Hi,
I've been using Vendio for about 8 years. I got a new computer and for some reason every time I try to download S.M.Pro it tells me I have to be registered to Vendio to be able to use this application.
What is it they mean? I am a Vendio member, and sign into Vendio with no problem? I've never had a problem before. My new computer does have Vista on it, could that be causing some problem? Please Help.

Hello Char,

Some users are having trouble using Sales Manager Pro on a Vista machine, but it doesn't sound like that is related to the problem you are having. Are you getting this message when you try to download the program, or after you install the program and try to use it?

Hi Nathan,
It's after I install it on my computer, the message comes up just before it's time to click the "Finish" Button.

Hello Char,

This likely means that either you have not yet entered your Vendio account username and password into SM Pro, or it has been entered incorrectly. Please open SM Pro and go to "Edit" --> "Preferences" --> at the top left, click the "Change" button and enter/reenter your Vendio account information.

After you have followed the above steps, please try to synchronize SM Pro and let us know whether or not it is successful.

Hi Nathan,
First, when I go to Sales Manager Pro, there is no "Preferences" under "Edit", there is only "Select All", "Find" and "Find Again"
So I logged in again to Vendio on Sales Manager Pro, and tried downloading it again.
It was installing it on my computer when right after it shows you installed 100%, it comes up saying "Sales Manager Pro has failed to "self install". And then tells you windows will check for the problem.

Hello Char,

Is Sales Manager Pro currently installed on your computer? Please refrain from reinstalling the program at this point, as that will not likely help the problem if the program is already installed. Can you currently open SM Pro? If so, please let us know what menu options you see at the very top left of the program after it is opened. Also let us know what version you are using by going to "Help" --> "About Sales Manager Pro".

Hi Nathan,
No, it is not installed on my computer.
Under Programs, it showed Sales Manager Pro, but if you open it ----Nothing! It never installed. I had it on my old computer before it crashed.

Hello Char,

Please right-click on Sales Manager Pro under your Programs menu and select "Properties". Then click on the "Compatibility" tab and select to run the program in Windows 98 compatibility mode. Are you able to open the program after making that change?
