I am still trying to use Sales Manager Pro, despite constant crashes with Windows 7 (64 bit). Now, of course, there is a new problem with the 80 character headings available at eBay. SMP still permits only 55 units. Arghh. This was once SUCH a good program and it -- and the post-sale stuff -- is the reason I have stuck with Vendio. When I click on the info icon next to SMP's heading box, I am told to click further for help. I did that yesterday, but no one has answered me. I suppose I will just be told that I have to abandon the desktop version, which I really don't want to do. But I guess my biggest question (I see no one asks questions about SMP anymore): Am I the only one still using -- and paying $25 a month for -- Sales Manager Pro?

I've found that the restriction in title length is if I use inventory manager. If I start a new listing from batch, the longer title is there. I've been told that they are working on it.

Hello,
Thank you Onceoza. That is correct. If you are using the inventory option in Sales Manager Pro, then this feature is not yet available. If you are using Sales Manager Pro without the inventory option, then you should be able to do this.
Please first download and install the most recent version of Sales Manager Pro. You may do so here:
Once the most recent version is installed, synchronize the program. Once the program is synchronized restart the program. You should then be able to create listings with 80 character titles in Sales Manager Pro (as long as you are not using the inventory option). Please let us know should you continue to have trouble with this.
