I've had my Paypal account for a couple of months, have received one payment into it but never attempted to make a payment until yesterday.

I filled out the payment form, then was taken to a screen which required me to input credit card info.

I'd already verified with a checking account, but went ahead and filled out the CC form.

Now, I have to wait, probably close to a month for the transaction to appear on my CC statement to finalize the verification. The payment I tried to make does not appear anywhere on my account.

Question is...will it ever go through? This is going to take far too long to finish and I have to use an alternate method to make payment.

Is there any way to cancel the transaction I can't find?

Hi,

I am trying to gauge the issue. Are you having issues with the random amounts on the cc or were you actually able to make a payment? I won't be in the office until Monday, but I can check on the issue then (if it relates to the card verification, this can take several days, sometimes more, to appear).

The issue is I don't know if the payment was actually registered or if it will ever go through.

I actually have money sitting in my account, so I assumed that I could make payments from it without hassle.

I entered all the information for the payee, then the next screen required me to verify with credit card info.

I completed that also.

What I need to know is the status of the actual transaction...pending or void?

I used the show all activity button on the history page, and the only thing showing is the deposit made on 2 March.

Hi,

I could check the records on Monday for you, but I have a feeling that it probably did not go through (the transaction to the payee) because the account has not been validated for sending.

You should be able to look for the transaction(s) in your history log. If they are not there, then no payment has been processed.

I will offer some additional information on Monday (if you send me your account email address to [email protected])
